I do not know much about MacBook Air, but for most PCs, you press the power key for 5 to 10 seconds and it will wipe it and you can create anew pw. For MacBook, there seems to be a similar procedure: https://www.google.com/search?q=macbook+air+reset&rlz=1C1EODB_enUS583US587&oq=macbook+air+reset&aqs=chrome..69i57j0l5.4897j0j8&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8 reset macbook air Shut down the computer. Plug in the MagSafe power adapter to a power source, connecting it to the Mac if its not already connected. On the built-in keyboard, press the (left side) Shift-Control-Option keys and the power button at the same time. Release all the keys and the power button at the same time. https://www.macworld.co.uk/how-to/mac/how-reset-mac-factory-settings-3494564/
