As usual, Apple does not disappoint. The MacAir is lightweight but delivers everything I need in a laptop. The processor is extremely fast, the picture quality is excellent and the operating system never crashes!

Spilled coffee on my MacBook Pro and had to replace it. I didn't like that the new Pros have only proprietary ports and had to buy an extra hub to carry around for normal connections. SO, I looked over at this MacBook Air and for less $$ I got a faster processor and double the HDD space, a lighter unit--all with no regrets. The only thing I gave up, I think is Retina display, but I have not noticed that much difference.

I’ve had an 11.6” MacBook Air for 5 years and it’s never let me down. Still gives me about 3 hours of battery life between charges. I run standard business apps and MS Office and carry it to all my meetings. Still runs well and never had any issues. I’m concerned Apple may drop the Air line of MacBooks and wanted to make sure I had a more recent one if they do. Bought the best setup, i7 CPU, 8GB RAM and 512 SSD because my old one has held up so good I thought my new one would be around for 5+ years or longer. I looked at the Pro line and just can’t jump on the USB-C only connections yet. I still plug in my Bose headsets on my old MacBook Air, so it’s nice to know I still can when I travel and watch a movie. If you like the Air, I would get one while you can.

Many are probably wondering why I would buy a MacBook Air in 2018 when it's pretty much old technology.. Well, here are my reasons:
1) I like the keyboard a lot better than the really thin ones they're putting on all the new MacBooks.
2) I don't like the absense of ports on all the new computers. One USB C just doesn't cut it for me. Yes, I could have added adapters, but that adds a lot to the cost.
3) Yes, the display isn't as nice as the retina displays on the new ones, but its not bad.
4) This one. has 512 gig of solid state drive and 8 gigs of memory and an I7 processor. It's really snappy.
5) It was on sale, $200 off.
All in all, a pretty good laptop. I've even installed Windows 10 in a BootCamp partition, and it went flawlessly. Right now it's not activated yet but I probably will activate it. What more can you ask for. I can run Mac OS or Windows, on the same computer. Yes, I have some applications that are only available for Windows. So I'm good to go either way.

The Mac Air 13 inch is a good compromise. It is small enough for easy travel and fits easily on an airplane tray, light and an excellent performer. It is fairly easy to use and manage, although the apple systems is frustrating at times. Wifi works well and no troubles with any viruses or related. I highly recommend it.

I had a MacBook Pro for almost 10 years and it was running amazing almost like brand new till my kids destroyed it. So I wanted something a bit lighter and decided to try the air this time around. So to say the least the battery is pretty solid for being so thin and I mean it’s a MAC so it’s pretty much the same thing. But atleast it’s something you can count on. I’m definitely happy with the purchase and would recommend to anyone to buy a Mac.

I bought the Air for my wife with all the extra options because we were so disgusted with her HP laptop running windows 10. The HP had a 7th generation i7, 16 mb ram, a decent graphics card, etc and was slow as heck with a poor battery life 2-5 hrs of use. This air has a less powerful processor and less ram but it runs so much better, lightning fast with all of its applications, has a battery life that lasts much more then 8 hrs of continuous use AND comes with all the basic office hardware that windows wants you to pay for. I think Windows 10 is the problem and not necessarily the products that are out there... We loved this Mac so much that I recently sold off my Dell and bought a MacBook. The display is fantastic! I will never go back to a windows product again! It is also nice how your iPhone syncs with the computer so you can text, FaceTime, and have access to all of your files and photos on either device. If you are fed up with your windows computer not being perfect then try a Apple. You will never go back.
