Yea this will be a good buy. With the new firmware on these Macbooks it’s plentiful on your schooling needs. I’m a graduate student and it has served me well for doing my Assignments and attending zoom sessions. However if you are an Design major or something along those lines you might want to opt for the Pro...but for your daily typical needs this is more than enough.
