• They call it gold but it seems like they blended the nice gold from the MacBooks with the unsellable rose gold and created a "Gold" which looks pink in almost all light except at a certain angle and then it looks copper. Very disappointing.

• It is "gold" on best buy, but the actual spec color is "gold blush". It is a rose gold like color but they just had to change the name because "rose gold" is trademarked.

• You are correct. Just bought one as a gift for my daughter and it certainly looks rose gold and not gold, which is the entire family's consensus. If I bought it for a boy, would certainly have to return it unless he was okay with owning a pink computer.
