If you backup your old one to the cloud, this new one will automatically transfer everything over. You can also take it in and Geek Squad will help you, but Apple has made it so easy to transfer from one device to another.

If you want to do it yourself, you will need an empty external disk, that has sufficient space (usually the same or more space than your old MacBook's disk space) to capture the backup. Once you buy your new MacBook, in the setting up process it will ask you if you have an old backup that you want to use. You can then plug in the external drive you have and it will backup everything from your old one.
