From everything I have researched, it should be. Make sure they are comfortable with it. Also, make sure they don't stop the updates. Mac is a GREAT APPLE, but it's a VERY DIFFERENT world from the alternatives. Check out my review on the laptop to understand what I mean. I felt it was so unsafe for me, that I ditched my other computers and all the other tablets, phone, ect. Honestly. God bless you and your family. You are a good parent to be concerned.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.it is not aimed to gaming, but it will allow you to do so. If you are planning to buy a laptop only for gaming, buy a Asus ROG with Intel i9 and Nvidia 4080.
