Will this work with the 2021 12.9 model? null

Yes, the 12.9 iPad Pro 4th Generation keyboard will work with the 5th generation iPad Pro. Keep in mind the 5th gen pro is slightly thicker than the 4th gen pro and the result is that the keyboard doesn’t close exactly flush. I have attached photos of my 5th gen ipad pro in the 4th gen case and 5th gen case.

Possible without any 3rd party screen protectors. But the cover could be unfitted if you use screen protecting film or glass stuff.
