- Answer If you go to the settings, then select *about* it should give your model number, serial number, version of the OS system etc. If you are trying to buy a Magic Keyboard for your Ipad, just look for a keyboard that matches the screen size. They all connect through Bluetooth, so the connection shouldn't be an issue.

- Answer This is the second time in the past two months that I've seen this version of the Magic Keyboard on sale for $200. Since Apple has already released another version of the Magic Keyboard that's compatible with the 3rd, 4th and their latest and greatest 5th gen iPad Pro, my guess is that they'll continue to place this "older" model on sale until they eventually sell out their inventory. I have no idea how long it will take them to sell out but I know that once it's gone that they won't be able to reorder this older model as I don't think Apple is manufacturing this older version anymore. My advice is to buy it while it's on sale since you may otherwise end up with no other option than the more expensive, newer model which will likely sell for the full list price until a year or two from now Apple eventually replaces it with a newer model.

QuestionIs this the correct keyboard for 2021 12.9 iPad pro?

- Answer This is 2020 model, but it will work. According to apple 2021 iPad 12.9 pro is 0.5mm thicker than last year’s model, so they released a newer version of magic keyboard, for a better fit. But videos all over internet says this 0.5mm doesn’t make any difference using the old magic keyboard with 2021 iPad Pro . Functionality wise they are same. So technically it works!!

- Answer No, but the AppleCare+ plan for iPad Pro covers any and all Apple keyboards and Apple Pencils that you buy that work with that iPad. Each repair or replacement has a $29 deductible. It’s $129 upfront for two years of coverage, or $5.99 a month until you cancel, but if you pay upfront, you can continue after the two years with a monthly plan. I highly recommend purchasing it. Apple products are only eligible for an AppleCare+ plan up to 60 days after the purchase of the new device. Any later, and it’s ineligible.

- Answer Not this model. You must buy the one specifically for the 11” iPad. There is one like it for it, but make sure that you have the professional iPad, since any other won’t work with it. Note: there are two keyboards for that iPad one with a trackpad and one without.

- Answer No it won’t. It only works with the newest 12.9 iPad. It’s the same with the first iPen. It doesn’t work on the new 12.9. Also on the new pad it now has a Cport and plugs are C to C. I hope I answer your questions
