“Can this be used as a case or would I need a separate case to store the I-pad?”

• It closes like a case. Good enough to store at home while Charging. I bought a separate carrying case to use while traveling. I’m very happy with keyboard/case.

• It can be used as a case. Because every time you wanted to use the keyboard you would have to take the case off to use it.

• It’s honestly your preference. I bought a Tomtoc case from Amazon. It stores a magnetic case and the keyboard but it is pretty bulky with everything in it. Hope this helps.
