If you had a thunderbolt to lightning cable the charge port on the mouse is lightning it comes with USB to lightning cable

Please try again later.The answer to my question is NO, as I discovered when I bought the mouse and realized I needed yet another cable to not only connect it to the MacBook Pro, but to charge it as well. Frankly, I found this to be such a truly awful mouse, that I returned it to Best Buy. Thanks to those of you who answered no, you need an adapter, etc.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.with an adaptor, yes. But why not use the USB port that fits the cord that comes with the mouse? If you have a new MacBook Pro, buy a cord that has a USB-C to Lightning plugs or use the adaptor.
