“I may need a new Apple Magic Mouse; having trouble getting it to connect sometimes even after changing batteries. It was purchased in 2011 with my Mac-mini (mid-2010) along with the silver magic keyboard. Will a new mouse work? Thanks in advance.”

You will definitely need to get a Apple Magic Mouse which is rechargeable, so you will not have to worry about constantly changing your batteries. My hubby was having the same problem, but since I got him the updated MM, everything if working out fine.
