Yes that is the switch that indicaten the unit is on. and you can check the battery level in the Bluetooth settings or System Preference.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Initially the switch with needs to be on to sync it with your computer when it is plugged into the USB port on your computer. No software needed. My computer is 12 years old. You need to slide the switch off on the back of the mouse off then plug it into the USB on the back of your computer when charging or the sales/products told me it also was ok to use my charging cord for my phone which uses the adapter for power and it will charge it also. It doesn't take too long to charge. In fact, when I purchased it, it had been charged a little. The product was brand new. It has a great lithium battery which has no memory so you can plug it in if you want to keep the charge to a higher percentage. But I use my computer a lot during the day and a charge lasts about 2 weeks. It depends on your usage.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The switch showing green means the mouse is on and active. To charge it turn the mouse off and connect it to a usb port. As far as I know there is no way to see how it is charging. I usually charge mine when I will have a break of at least an hour when I don’t need to use the computer and I let it charge. I check the power level periodically so it doesn’t get too low.
