Yes. You can use this Trackpad with a cable independent of Bluetooth.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Even though you can just plug the lightning cable to connect it with your MacOS device, it won’t work if you turn off the Bluetooth button. Why? Because the on/off Bluetooth button is also the on/off switch button.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.if you go into the bluetooth settings you can make the Mac forget about the Trackpad. as long as you have it cabled to a USB port, the Mac will still see it. however, you'll have to do this every single time you dock. i found this thread when looking for a way to permanently poison the bluetooth service on my Trackpad/Mac setup. apple likes to decide for itself when and how its devices will communicate. for reasons i have no reason to disclose, i don't like wireless-by-default, i'll choose it myself (maybe.)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.there is no wiring option
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Unfortunately not - the lightning to USB cable is just for charging the device. The actual connection will take place using Bluetooth.
