No it doesn’t work with a leather case around the phone
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I bought the MagSafe charger, and ordered a alternate type of MagSafe case, in the under $20 range, and it is probably the difference. It charged with my Soeck, but facing straight up,, it doesn’t have a magnetic effect. The online case I purchased specific to the MS charger, I put two command strips on, and stuck it to the window behind my headboard, and it holds and charger. So if yours is in the MS charger type, believe they’ll all have a magnetic circle or slim magnets circular plate yes, if not, wrong cage. But Apple has MagSafe leather, so they exhaust. Or, if you don’t mind it facing up, it’ may attract itself enough, but, thickness, etc. best of luck. I added another to my car, and it’s easily what I’ve hoped for from Apple for years. Well, aside from making Siri as smart as Google and Amazon’s interfaces. But, not related to this in any way, but seriously, if someone at Apple reads this, steal b entire team from each and fix this, Siri, you are the weakest link, goodbye. Please excuse autocorrects and typos on my phone and and figured I just went through this.
