“I just bought this USB Super Drive. It will not accept any disks. All demonstrations I’ve watched shows the Super Drive pulling the disc all the way in after you’ve inserted it about 1/3 to 3/4 of the way. I’m using the appropriate adapter with my Mac Air”

Make sure you have the Apple Emblem on the drive placed on the bottom. I had the it upside down when I tried to use it. It will not take a disk that way. Otherwise if you are using it correctly take it back to the store if it isn’t working.
