• Well, probably not this one. According to the box, it is compatible with Mac systems that do not have optical drives. There are other brands of external dvd drives. Look for one that says it is compatible with Chromebooks. It should say on its product description if it is compatible.

• If your product is made by Apple then this device will work, their products are preloaded so it will recognize the device when plugged in. I hope this helps.
