• When you get a new phone, you have to re-sync your iwatch to the new phone

• No. You will need to go into your watch app on your phone and unpair the old watch. This will back up all data from your watch to your phone. Then follow the directions given with the new watch to pair it to your phone. When asked choose”restore from backup” and choose the backup that was last done. Once these steps are followed your new watch will have everything your old one did.
