“So I been thinking since I upgraded to an iPhone to get a watch since it easier to see while working... what should I get the cellular & gps or gps only..strictly only need it to check messages n all that when busy and don’t wanna pull my phone out”

Gos only is fine (& cheaper) as long as you always have your phone on you you can use it. But if u want to leave your phone at home I would recommend the GPS + cellular
