Will the cellular work with straight talk? null

No, unfortunately from everything I have read none of the prepaid companies (Straightalk, Total Wireless, etc.) are set up for the cellular Series 3. Hoping that will change in the future.

It will only connect to a contract phone. also will add money to your monthly bill.
