“If I buy the Apple Watch with just gps can I still receive messages or do I need to get the gps+cellular?”

• Don’t need the cellular but phone needs to be nearby have been a good 50 feet from my phone and still got messages

• The only reason you would need to have the cellular watch is if you want to receive and make calls without your phone with you

• You will still get your messages as long as it is connected to your phone via bluetooth
