How would I hook this up to my Verizon account? null

Purchase the GPS+Cellular Apple Watch and take it to your Verizon dealer for a SIM card and network functionality.

If it is a non cellular edition you can’t

If you bought the GPS one than it just syncs to your phone. To add cellular you need the GPS+Cellular and literally leave your phone at home and you can text/call from your watch.
