“Hi, I would like to know why the watch is NOT recommended for people who have previously been diagnosed with atrial fibulation? AFIB is not constant. It comes and goes. I would think that someone who was diagnosed with AFIB would want to know.”

It does tell me when my heart is in Afib, I never know.

Perhaps a blanket recommendation is not shown for legal liability issues. My cousin loves the watch and it has given her peace of mind. She can contact her doctor's office with real information instead of making an appointment to be seen.

If you feel a episode you just hold the right side of the watch and it will tell you if you are in sinus rhythm. But Watch does diagnose anything. You can send information to your doctors office if you have a concern. I love this watch it has a lot of features to help you with your health. I researched about it on the Apple site before I purchased it.
