• your cell phone has to be with in 350 feet to get calls texts and go on line. it does not require a seperate phone line, it works for me! It also will work if you have wi fi .

• The gps version cannot connect to a carrier.Only the gps+cellular version does it

• GPS means it gives you life geographic locations so you can use maps for directions
