- Answer This is the GPS model that does not require an additional line to use. It must be paired with an iPhone or WiFi for internet connectivity. The cellular models will prompt you to select your carrier.

- Answer Apple Watch requires an iPhone to activate and set up, and is tied to it. Once activated, you don't have to have the phone on you at all times or anything, but when the phone is not present you won't see notifications or be able to make calls.
