“To capture passersby after dark, does the camera use a spotlight? I want to use one of the cameras to spot wildlife in our yard, but don't want to be blasting the wildlife (or anyone passing by) with a light after sunset. Thank you!”

You can turn the spotlight off. Does use infrared lights for night vision that you can see if looking at the camera. You can turn those off as well, but will not capture anything at night if you do.
