Does this have a magnetic base like some other arlo cameras????so you can attach it to metal surfaces...also can you turn off the ir lights?and does it have motion zones?so you can only have it record certain areas like doorways, windows etc. null

No magnetic mountjng...only screw on, unfortunately. There are settings for ir, motion zones (with Arlo Smart Subscription),

No, it does not have a magnetic base. To disable the IR lights on the Essential Spotlight Camera, you will have to turn off night vision. Lastly, activity zones can be created.
