This doorbell camera doesn't count against your five cameras that you already have installed. It doesn't even connect to your base station. It will show up as a separate device in your Arlo app. You get a free 3 month trial. After the 3 month trial, you will only have the ability to receive instant alerts, live-stream video from your doorbell, receive a direct-to-mobile video call from a doorbell press, and play quick reply messages, unless you continue with a paid subscription plan. https://kb.arlo.com/88
