• It works with existing chime. I connected it to my existing chime, and it worked great. The app is intuitive and will guide you through the process, including instructions on connecting it to the existing chime.

• There is a little rewiring of door chimer, but very easy

• The Arlo Video Doorbell will work with most existing chime units that are already wired and work off of a transformer.
