“Since this comes with only one camera, is the system expandable? Can I start with this and add more cameras to it when/if I find a need to? If so, how many is the controller able to handle?”

It can handle 5 cameras for free and if you want to add more you have to pay a monthly fee.

You may also add more than five cameras but will need to pay a small monthly or one time fee annually in order to use the extended camera system(more than five). I hope this helps and be safe always!
