“Is the Arlo Smart service required to use this system ?”

• Yes if you want to store your recordings in the cloud for 14 days or 30 days. You however can store the recordings locally on a external hard drive attached to the smart hub without charge but you will not be able to view these recordings on the Arlo phone app
