Each camera is connected to the base wirelessly. So the distance from the base is what you want to measure and it’s range for me is about 50 feet but that is through 2 big plaster walls. I could maybe go a little further but battery drains faster. What I found works the best is to buy a range extender and put in the middle of your house and then plug the base into there so your cameras are all evenly spaced.

My most distant camera is approximately 75 feet from the base station and has three walls in between—I have excellent connectivity. Also, I purchased four solar panel chargers for Arlo Pro 3 and Ultra for the four cameras—the batteries stay charged at 85% to 100%. This is an excellent security camera system — only negative comment I have is that there’s about a 10-14 seconds lag time when viewing the cameras in “live” mode.

The base can also be wireless and placed anywhere in the house connected to WiFi to provide better signal to the cameras/. I personally chose to add a second base to the other side of my home hardwired back to my router. It provides double the coverage and speedy connections.
