“I currently have the old school basic Arlo cameras. In the app I can view video clips for the past 7 days and have the option to download/save clips to my phone if I want. Can I do the same with the Pro 3 withOUT the subscription or will I have to pay?”

They gave a free trial but the pro3 will have to have a subscription if you want to have on their cloud. It does have a USB slot for local storage on its hub but it seemed really difficult when reading the fine print after buying it on all these extra steps to view it without having to take it out. I was under the impression that I could put the USB in and see recordings to it within the app once inserted.

Without an Arlo Smart subscription, you can still add up to 5 cameras to your Arlo account, live stream, and receive motion and audio notifications. ^RM
