what is the range for the wireless cameras? null

Install the Hub in a central place, I think my furthest one is about 30 ft away from the hub and across 2 rooms. Either way when you connect them and have the app, you can see how weak or strong the connection to your cameras is.

You can place your Arlo camera a maximum of 300 feet (90 meters) from the SmartHub or base station. The maximum line-of-sight range of 300 feet is reduced by each wall, ceiling, or other major obstruction between the camera and base station.
