Yes. 2k (1440p) my higher definition. The Arlo 4 also has smart AI to helps with distortion, and has 3 different FOV you can choose from albeit if you use the subscription service (free trial with purchase) then a few bucks per camera a month after that. Note that zooming in may be slightly clearer, it will still be pixilated. 60ft, max zoom you will not be able to clearly read license plate numbers.

XL has smaller FOV so more pixels when zooming. Therefore Pro 4 will not increase overall resolution and NOT improve compared to Essential XL; CORRECT???
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The Arlo Pro 4 camera has better video output as it has up to 2k video resolution compared to the Essential XL Spotlight camera with 1080p quality. However, both cameras are using digital zoom that may lose its quality when image/video is zoomed in. ^RM
