Yes the Ultra base works “backwards”, in that you can add different version cameras. I have 4 Ultra and 2 Pro 2

I do have one other question though, hopefully somebody will have an answer for it as well. Best Buy is showing this unit coming in all black, does anyone know if Arlo offers the same system but with less cameras in all black or is it only if you buy the 4 camera system?

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Pro2 works with Ultra base. Please be advised; IF your upload speed is < 4Mbps, Ultra cameras will not function. They will install perfectly but not upload data, and therefore no notifications to you.
