I know the Arlo Ultra cameras will only work with the Ultra base, but will the Arlo Pro 2 cameras work with the Ultra base? I already have the Arlo Pro 2 system and would like to upgrade, but only if I can add my old cameras to the new system as well. null

Yes the Ultra base works “backwards”, in that you can add different version cameras. I have 4 Ultra and 2 Pro 2

Yes! My Arlo Pro2 cameras work well in the Ultra universe. It was a great alternative to add Pro2 cameras when expanding my Ultra system.

Thank you all do for the answers! I do have extremely fast wifi and my current subscription includes up to 10 cameras, so everything should be fine! I do have one other question though, hopefully somebody will have an answer for it as well. Best Buy is showing this unit coming in all black, does anyone know if Arlo offers the same system but with less cameras in all black or is it only if you buy the 4 camera system?

Yes the arlo pros will work with the ultra base you just have to resync the arlo pros to the ultras base

Pro2 works with Ultra base.

Please be advised; IF your upload speed is < 4Mbps, Ultra cameras will not function. They will install perfectly but not upload data, and therefore no notifications to you.

Ultra base is backward compatible. You can use and Arlo Pro 2 camera with the Ultra base.

Yes you can, but remember arlo charges a subscription fee for anything over 5 cameras.
