• It is equal to the one that Comcast gives out, the caveat being you CANNOT use the Comcast Apps or the Xfinity website to manage it. It sits upon a metaphorical pillar of which Comcast's management tentacles cannot reach. Well, except they can deliver firmware updates to the modem if they so choose since they leave the management port open...

• Well i had a comcast tech come here the other day and he said i had the top of the line one. It has been working very good

• Any modem/router is better to own your own, then get charged monthly by Comcast. I have had Comcast/Xfinity for 18y and have always owned my modem.
