The Wi-Fi functionality does not disable when it is not in use. The Wi-Fi can be disabled in the settings. The LED lights cannot be turn off at night. You can connect over 150 devices. It will also depend on the type of devices and the amount of bandwidth each device uses concurrently. You can add managed switch for additional Ethernet ports, additional configuration may be required on the managed switch to not interrupt the home network connection. Unmanaged switch is recommended to add additional Ethernet ports for plug-and-play experience.
