“We use a Orbi router system now...can the wifi functionality on this modem be disabled? We'd be using for Comcast Internet/Phone service but want to keep using our Orbi wifi router/system.”

I do not believe that it can be turned off. There is one model that does not have wifi that works with Xfinity Triple Play. The Orbi should work fine with this modem. I am using the Google WiFi router and it works great even with the Wifi on.

Yes, the wifi can be disabled. I currently have it disabled.

Yes you can. I use a Netgear router for my wi-fi . And you can turn the other on or not.
