• The first answer is "anyone you want." Mine is a Netgear Nighthawk, but there are many others. More important may be the questions of how large an area do you want to reach, how many devices does it have to support, and so forth.

• Depends on what you are doing and size/ type of space to cover. With multi level home, I chose Velop nodes. Orbi also good. No WiFi lose at all anywhere Speed 119 at host and at each node covering 3 levels. You don’t need that in smaller one level . Extenders much cheaper but lose speed
