“Is this modem compatible with RCN? I NEED 500Mbps or better? Please help. Thank you ahead of time”

• SB6183 is compatible to work with RCN's internet services but please note that you might require a DOCSIS 3.1 modem (like SB8200 or S33) to avail >500 Mbps speeds. Please verify the same from RCN

• The model I purchased will not work for 500 Mbps but there is another model that will. Almost identical to this one but rated to handle faster speeds.
