Yes, this modem works with Spectrum cable company.

I purchased the modem and realized when I got home that I should have purchased a router. We have Spectrum Cable, and the sales person didn't question my provider, so I would think "yes, it works with spectrum." (Best Buy people are very helpful at this store.) Better than paying spectrum $5 a month forever for a modem. I returned the modem, of course. We have a good one.
