“Is there no mute option? I didn't notice one on the mixamp and it doesn't specify (that I have found) that states the cable connecting the headset to the mixamp includes a mute function (in-line mute cable).”

yes it does have a inline mute button on the cable.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Their is no mute option on the mixer. It’s just on the cable connecting the mixer to the headset. The jewel piece can shift down to mute.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There is a sliding in-line mute switch on the cable connecting the headset to the mixamp. Once muted, the lights on the mixamp will turn red for indication you have muted the mic.
