On PC, you can use either the MixAmp or the audio jack, although the MixAmp has a much higher audio quality. The A40 without the MixAmp is good, but doesn't offer the customizable features and higher sound quality that the MixAmp provides.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The cheaper version comes with just the headset and the wire I believe it may come with a small clip to plug into the bottom of the controller or if you don't use the xbox or PC then you just plug it into your Oxford on your PC however yes there is a major difference the mixed amp not only is it actually capable of this may be stating the obvious part But what the mixed amps dials and controls allow you to do essentially is at my house I have an xbox a playstation ATV and APC all running through my mixempt and I don't have to unplug or change anywhere I can adjust all the volumes and everything I want but just the turnips and dials and some sliders in the computer so it's absolutely great on that end if you want like actual specific detailed control but 2nd off the mixempt gives the quality and sound a little bit more juice I don't know how familiar with audio audio you are but just like in a car you amplify the speakers so that the speakers can play louder the headset will work just fine and it will be good and loud without a mixed app however my body has the exact same headset without the mix amp as me and he cannot wear mixed ant version Is loud. It's Not going to death in you but you Would notice the different side-by-side for sure
