“How long are the cords? I’m 8ish feet away from my Xbox. Does it come with usb power and optic cable long enough for me? Will i be able to unplug the mixer from my Xbox and store when not in use without re-updating or anything similar? Thanks”

Each cord, PC/console to mix amp and mix amp to headset is roughly 6 ft long so it might fall just short of what you need without buying a longer cord. I haven't had any issues in unplugging it and reconnecting it.

Please try again later.So the usb and optical cords that come off of the xbox to the mixamp are both about 2 meters and the cord coming out of the front of the mixamp to the A40's themselves is 2m so in theory they should reach, with the mixamp being a little in front of you. Yes you can store the mixamp without having to update it every time you plug it in.
