it default powers on to pc mode. if the light for power is white it is pc mode. hold the power button down and it will turn red and work on xbox. you can change the default start up mode to console if you plug it into a pc and adjust many other settings.

Please try again later.I had to download and install Dolby Atmos and the Astro Command center on my xbox, but you also have to download the Astro Command Center on your PC and plug in your mic afterwards and have latest version updated and installed. Here is a link for the youtube clip that was helpful for me: https://youtu.be/A-T9kucG5nQ. After doing this, I had to wait for about an hour or so and the mic finally started working. It took me a while to do this, but you just have to be patient enough and eventually it will work. Please feel free to contact me if you are still having issues.
