Yes, this WiFi router will work with DSL, however, it is overkill since DSL speeds are considerably slower than what this item will support. I would suggest a lower cost WiFi router for your solution. The Asus RT-AC1750 is a very good WiFi router that is about $150 less than the AC3100 as of 01/02/17. See the photo and recommended products I've listed.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm not a networking expert, but I'd say that if your DSL has it's own, separate modem only (and not a modem/router combo like I used to have with Verizon DSL/now Frontier), and your modem has an outgoing CAT5 connection "to computer or LAN" to connect to the router's internet port (incoming signal), then this should work just fine. It's more than capable to handle the speeds of DSL, but obviously, it all depends on your physical situation (connection, provider, number of subscribers in your local area, distance from hub, etc.). Put it this way, it won't be the object in your mix that would be causing slow speeds in your service, if that helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This router should be compatible with any internet signal from any modem as long as they connection is the same. Cable or DSL modem with have the ethernet internet out port to a router.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This router will easily manage any devices you have connected to your wireless network. While you may see a speed boost depending on what you are upgrading from, any limits will come from your internet service provider.
