Yes it does. You need to put in your PPPoE credentials (call CenturyLink if you don't have this), and then most likely need to set the WAN VLAN to 201 (this is under "IPTV" in settings). Works excellent on my CenturyLink gigabit connection and took just a couple minutes to set up.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As the other answers said, yes it does work. You'll want to get the PPPoE login from CenturyLink (if you don't have this, you can call them and get it). On most CL fiber, you'll also need to set up VLAN tagging 201. I believe this was listed in "IPTV" section in the router UI. Many routers don't support VLANs so that's one of the reasons I chose this model. Set up this way, you don't need to use the Router CenturyLink gave you. You can plug this directly into the ONT which is probably mounted on a wall (make sure you plug it into the same port). After setting up the VLAN and PPPoE, the router has been working great at full (near) Gigabit speeds for me so far.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it would technically connect as long as you have an ethernet uplink. It support straight DHCP or PPOE (username/password) logins both.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, I have the CenturyLink 1GB optic fiber.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes they do
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, however, if you're not very tech savvy I wouldn't recommend trying to set up the router on your own. Asus does support PPOE so you can directly connect the fiber connection to your Router and it will act as the modem as well.
