“My home network currently consists of a NETGEAR AC1750 all in one cable modem/router. Will this product work if I use it with my cable modem? My home network is not very stable, TV and sometimes computer constantly drop the network. Thanks, Van”

• Yes, you'll have to disable DHCP on the Netgear, firewall and add the Asus router to the DMZ.

• Yes, you can. However if you have a combination modem/router you will have to disable the router part of it and use it as a modem only.

• Maybe replace the 1750 with this ASUS. Or add a netgear repeater to expand your signal. 1750 is a small range

• sure just disable the wifi in your current wifi modem/router combo and disable all of the DNS etc functionality of it as well plug this router in via it's wan port to one of the current lan ports and go through the setup. easy

• I use mine with my Spectrum cable modem and it works great. I had the AC1900 prior.
