It comes with a slow 2TB drive that can easily get locked up if numerous applications are reading and writing data. As for the CPU, you really need to try hard to max out Core i7, however, in extreme power saving modes it will crawl, so when my battery goes to 10% and then 7% it becomes impossible to work.

It always takes forever when first turning the computer on, and uses all drive space to check for viruses and other updates. And if you happen to have a new Windows update? Forget using the laptop for a while. It will freeze any other application you open. Doing a soft Windows reset, where it doesn't delete any files, helps for a few months. The research I've done suggests installing an SSD hard drive and possibly more RAM.
